No. It is the company name and the product name written together. The product is Hypermeter, built by Exivity. If HPE delivered something under that name, it is Hypermeter, Exivity Core, or both.
Is this an HPE product?
No. Hypermeter and Exivity Core are built, versioned and supported by Exivity. HPE is a Transformation Partner that runs a FinOps practice around Exivity, delivering deployment, configuration, integration and knowledge transfer for its customers.
Do I need Morpheus or OpsRamp to use Hypermeter?
No. Hypermeter reads cloud billing exports, virtualisation platforms, databases and any REST API on its own. Morpheus and OpsRamp add workload identity and telemetry that make the economic model richer; they are not prerequisites.
Does Hypermeter change anything in my infrastructure?
No. It has no write access. In the designed loop, a change is made by Morpheus through Morpheus’ own governance; Hypermeter supplies the recommendation and measures the result.
Who do I call for support?
Exivity supports the software. If you bought through HPE, your HPE agreement sets out how first-line support is handled.
