Universal Extractor

Exivity is not limited to a predefined catalogue of integrations. With the Universal Extractor, organizations can connect their own systems and data sources to Exivity and incorporate them into the same cost management, reporting, and billing framework.

If the data is reachable over an accessible API — through the supported authentication methods and formats — the Universal Extractor can collect it.

This enables organizations to retrieve consumption, cost, customer, infrastructure, service, or other relevant business data from systems that do not have a dedicated out-of-the-box Exivity integration.

Once collected, data can be transformed, normalized, and enriched before being combined with information from other sources. Exivity can then apply custom rates and business rules to support FinOps, cost allocation, showback, chargeback, reporting, and usage-based billing.

The Universal Extractor is particularly valuable in complex enterprise and service provider environments, where technology data is often distributed across custom applications, internal platforms, legacy systems, industry-specific solutions, and multiple infrastructure providers.
