Exivity integrates with Microsoft Azure Stack to bring detailed metering, cost allocation, and billing capabilities to on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
Using Exivity's ready-made Azure Stack integration templates, organizations can collect consumption data from Azure Stack and transform infrastructure usage into meaningful cost and billing information.
Because Azure Stack consumption data does not provide rate card information through the Consumption API, Exivity allows organizations to define and manage their own rates. This provides the flexibility to translate Azure Stack resource consumption into internal costs, customer prices, or service-specific charging models.
The resulting data can be broken down and reported across relevant dimensions, enabling enterprises to implement showback or chargeback and allowing service providers to automate billing for Azure Stack-based services.
Azure Stack consumption can also be consolidated with Azure public cloud and other infrastructure data in Exivity. This makes it possible to manage costs across on-premises and public cloud resources within the same FinOps and billing framework — particularly valuable for organizations operating sovereign, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
